Meanwhile there are cassettes or cassette extensions from various manufacturers that increase the bandwidth of your 1×11 drive.
For example, existing cassette systems are expanded from 11-40 teeth to 11-48 or even 11-50 teeth. The problem with this is that the derailleurs are usually not designed for this. The upper guide roller must be positioned very low so that it comes under the 48 or 50 pinion.
If the chain then runs on the 11th sprocket of the cassette, the distance between the sprocket and the guide pulley is very large, so that the shifting performance suffers.
GARCG-05 offers the perfect solution here. The special derailleur cage positions the guide rollers in the optimal place so that the guide roller can always work perfectly and the shifting performance does not suffer.
It expands the capacity of your rear derailleur to up to 50 teeth. You can continue to use your previous pulleys, but we recommend using the guide pulleys with 11-16 teeth that GARCG-05 has matched to the cage in order to achieve the best possible performance of your drive.
